About

The nation is located at the southernmost tip of Africa. In 1948, the National Party implemented apartheid, which legalized racial segregation. In the 1980s, discriminatory laws began to be repealed, and a democratic government was established in 1994.

South Africa is a diverse and vibrant country in Southern Africa, known for its spectacular landscapes, rich history, wildlife and cultural heritage. It is one of Africa's largest economies and a top global tourist destination, famous for its safaris, Table Mountain and its struggle for freedom led by Nelson Mandela.
