Kolkata Knight Riders
The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are set to defend their title in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) under new leadership. Veteran batsman Ajinkya Rahane has been appointed captain, replacing Shreyas Iyer, who has moved to Punjab Kings. All-rounder Venkatesh Iyer will play the role of vice-captain.
The KKR team includes important players like wicketkeeper batsman Quinton de Kock, fast bowler Anrich Nortje and all-rounder Moeen Ali. They will begin their title defence campaign against Royal Challengers Bangalore on March 22.
