Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are gearing up for the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) season with notable changes and strategic acquisitions. Rajat Patidar has been appointed the new captain in place of Faf du Plessis.
The return of Virat Kohli, who has been the mainstay of RCB since 2008, and the addition of players like Devdutt Padikkal, Phil Salt and all-rounders Liam Livingstone and Krunal Pandya have strengthened the team.
The bowling attack has been strengthened by the inclusion of fast bowlers Josh Hazlewood, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Lungi Ngidi as well as spinner Suyash Sharma. With this new lineup, RCB aims to win their maiden IPL title in the upcoming season.
